Edana Minghella Joins Celebration Concert

Following the announcement yesterday of the concert being held next week at Cowes Yacht Haven to celebrate the life of Anthony Minghella, we hear today that his sister, Jazz singer Edana Minghella, will also be making a special appearance at the concert.
As well as celebrating the life and work of Anthony Minghella, the concert will also be the launching pad for a new filmmaking, drama and music fund for young people.
Quay Arts Director, Mick Smith, said,
“We are extremely delighted that Edana has agreed to appear at the concert. It will undoubtedly be a great occasion, with a superb line up of musicians and singers. Not only will we be celebrating the life of a truly inspirational man, but the concert will also mark the setting up of a new scholarship in his name for young people.”
