Dozens Turn Out For Schools Demo
Friday, 25th January, 2008 at 6:27 pm, Isle of Wight
It wasn’t the thousands who are expected tomorrow, but dozens of parents and children turned up outside County Hall this afternoon to let those inside know how they felt about the proposed school closures.

Many were very vocal (with the help of the nifty megaphone) and it drew a small crowd of council officers, who peered out of the windows to see what was going on.
Countless drivers passing by honked their horns in support. The CP photographer got some shots of the kids (as did we) and IW Radio were grabbing vox pops.
As mentioned, it is thought that thousands will attend the rally tomorrow. Make sure you come along to show your support - 10am outside County Hall.
