Coming Up On VentnorBlog This Week
Monday, 3rd July, 2006 at 12:25 pm, Isle of Wight
The sun is shining and the temperature is rising. Looks like we’re in for a good week here in bonny Ventnor.
As I’m sure you’ll all want to be out in the sun and not glued to your computers here are some of the stories we’ll be bringing you over the week …
Look forward to getting the inside on The Beautiful Gardens of Bonchurch (which kicks off this coming Saturday). We’ll be highlighting details of all 12 sites, including the new ones and some returning old favourites.
Once I can drag myself away from the sun (just have to get rid of this city tan), I’ll be writing a short review of the Horseshoe Bay House Restaurant, which we stumbled across on Sunday. Find out whether we liked it or loathed it.
I’m hoping to write a short piece about an excellent up and coming island writer I met through MySpace. His descriptive passages are pretty inspiring and I can’t wait to see more of his work.
Again, time permitting, I’m hoping to do a short interview with new Ventnorian owner, Lesley. Everytime I pass the shop I’m always in a rush and keep meaning to pop back. Hopefully I’ll get some time later in the week.
They’ll be other stories as they come in, no doubt some more Bestival news and updates for the V-Fest.
So enjoy the sun, don’t forget the SPF and check back regularly to see what’s going on in Ventnor this week.
Thanks to Paddy Wight for use of his great shot of the Esplanade Clocktower.
