A brand new monthly comedy night is soon to arrive at the Ventnor Winter Gardens.
This is one night that should appeal to all ages, and hopefully open events at the Winter Gardens up to a wider audience.
If you’ve been to any of the Open Mic nights at Quay Arts over the last couple of years, you’ll certainly recognise the names.
Scott Anderson compered the Bestival Bands Competition earlier in the year at Ryde Theatre and described himself as “Kind of like a clean tramp without the Special Brew”.
Richard Quigley, (pictured) who looks remarkably like another well known comedian, is a regular on the comedy scene and apparently has something to do with the best chips on the Wight!
Lastly, but not least, is the lovely Hannah George, (whose pic normally appears on VB for such events - probably because she’s much better looking than the other two) a Ventnor Girl who’s done good - carries the accolade of Paramount Comedy Student Comedian of the Year 2007!
Update: Will Hanson will also be performing on the night.
You can enjoy this evening at the Winter Gardens, with the main hall laid out in cabaret style with tables and chairs on the 10th of October.
Entry will only set you back £4 (you can’t afford not to laugh) leaving you enough cash to enjoy a drink from the bar whilst allowing all those happy serotonins to be released.
Don’t forget to say where you heard about it and do try to come along to support our local comedians and local venue!
This is a sponsored feature.
