Let’s hope this amazing weather holds out for Sunday 28th September when the Classic Car Run takes place on the Isle of Wight
Setting off from at Cowes Parade at 10am, it is anticipated that over 50 classic and vintage cars will take part in the run across the Island to help raise money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
If you have a classic car (that’s one over 20 years old) why not join the convoy - it’s all in a good cause and will only cost you £10 per car.
If you’re taking part and don’t fancy having to fill the picnic basket, there’s the option of a buffet lunch at the Needles Park for only £5.50 per person.
If you’re a spectator, you might see one of these beauties (pictured) toodling along the Island roads - shot here in Newport Quay last year.
If you reading this from the mainland, Red Funnelare offering a ’special’ Hospice rate of £25 per car for a day return for cars participating in the Run.
Just call (01983) 528 989 for the promotional code to book online.
