Cheetah Marine: Harbour Master’s Office - Still Time To Comment
Saturday, 24th May, 2008 at 1:28 pm, Isle of Wight
As pointed out in the previous post, due to a last minute extension, there is still time, if you want to comment on the proposal by Cheetah Marine to have their obligation to provide a harbour master’s office removed.
Read the background published earlier in the week to learn more.
As County Councillor Jonny Fitzgerald Bond pointed out in his representation to the Planning committee on 25 April 2007, the provision of the Harbour Master’s office is required to meet the criteria specified by the SEEDA’s funding of the Haven.
Cheetah Marine tried to have the obligation removed last year, but were unsuccessful.
Some people might question why they have now come back, as one Town Councillor stated at a Ventnor Town Council Meeting, for “another bite of the cherry.”
