Check The Flares At The Spyglass
Friday, 21st September, 2007 at 3:02 pm, Isle of Wight
We’re not suggesting that the head bar man wears bell bottoms (what he does behind closed doors is up to him) but are in fact, referring to a demonstration of emergency flares being held down on the seafront tonight. It is being organised by the Ventnor Sailing Club and the RNLI.
Leaflets have been popping through Ventnorian’s letter boxes, inviting them to gather at the Boathouse at 6.30pm for an introduction with dummy flares, then heading out to the steps by the Spyglass for a live demo at 7pm.
Many thanks for Mark for sending through the info.
