With news just in from Bestival HQ that they’ve just sold out of weekend tickets for Camp Bestival, anyone who entered our Camp Bestival ticket comp but weren’t lucky enough to be picked out of the hat might be interested in this comp being run by The Times.

This time next week, lucky Camp Bestival ticket holders will be either dancing their socks off at Balaeric Bollywood, laughing their heads off at the Laughter Library or maybe still banging in their tent pegs.

Bestival HQ tell us there are just 200 tickets left for this first time boutique festival in the beautiful grounds of Lulworth Castle.

There’ll be 10,000 festival goers descending upon Durdle Door next Friday. If you want to join them get your tickets before they all go.

The time has come to announce the lucky winner of a family ticket for Camp Bestival which takes place in just over a week’s time.

Two adults and two under 16s will be enjoying free entrance and camping courtesy of those lovely folk at Bestival HQ.

Following the announcement yesterday that The Imaginary Village will be playing at Camp Bestival we’re pleased to let you in on more of the acts now confirmed to play in July at the Bestival’s sister festival.

The rather excellent Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip will be making their way over to Lulworth Cove to share their warped beats and exhibit their tremendous lyrical dexterity.

Bestival HQ has just announced the release of the brand spanking (easy now) new Camp Bestival website.

It looks just as lovely as the Bestival website and features more of that colourful animated artwork from Josie Da Bank.

The site is jam-packed with info about the new festival taking place in the beautiful Lulworth Cove this July. As well as finding out who’s performing, you can get the skinny on what’s going on in each part of the site – The Castle Field, Magic Meadow, Kid’s Garden and the Camping areas.

Camp Bestival might not be taking place on the Island, but we know that there will be plenty our readers, who’ll be making the trip across the Solent come next June to experience the wonder of a Bestival festival.

Many people have already bought their tickets for Bestival 08 and Camp Bestival 08 despite not knowing the lineup. Well, we can exclusively reveal that if you have already bought your tickets, it was most certainly money well spent.

News just in from Bestival HQ that despite the fact that not a single act has been announced yet, all the early bird tickets for Camp Bestival, sister festival to the hugely successful Bestival, winner of the best medium sized festival three years in a row, were sold within one hour of release.

Normal price tickets are flying out the door and we’re getting really excited about finding out just who will be playing at Lulworth Cove next year.
