Buff Stuff In Cowes (podcast)

Monday, 22nd September, 2008 at 3:38 pm, Isle of Wight

A while back, we were wandering around Cowes and the window display of one particular shop caught our attention.

Buff Stuff In CowesWe took a look inside and were really impressed with what the shop had to offer.

Buff, at 84 High Street in Cowes has been running since October last year and stocks a great range of products targeted towards men.

For women looking to treat the man in their lives or for men who fancy a bit of retail therapy, Buff certainly has a diverse range of products.

From homeware products with a more masculine slant, to t-shirts, bags, cards, accessories, stationery and even pet products.

If you love the old Haynes car manuals, you might be pleased to hear that Buff stocks a wide range of Haynes licensed products, such as mugs, bags etc which are proving very popular.

Buff Stuff In CowesThey even have re-conditioned classic dial phones, DAB radios, lighting and picture frames as well as these novel bath plugs (pictured) for anyone wanting to brighten up their bathroom.

Buff also has a great range of books from Taschen and Chronicle covering architecture, design, surfing, cinema and contemporary art.

It’s sister shop further up the road, Live Like This has been running for three years now and stocks a similar range of products but with more glitter and sparkle than Buff.

Their Web site which you can order through if you can’t make it over to Cowes, was designed by Island designer Aaron Rudd and looks as good as the actual shop.

After we finished looking around, we had a chat with co-owner Matt, click on the play button below to listen.

I absolutely love this shop. Have managed to get some brilliant presents from here and they always have new stock coming in. Wish they’d open a shop in Ventnor!
