Buddy Brilliant! Ventnor Show A Great Success

Tuesday, 6th May, 2008 at 11:32 am, Isle of Wight

BUDDY: The Buddy Holly StoryCongratulations to the Ventnor Theatre Group, for their spectacular performances of The Buddy Holly Story at the Ventnor Winter Gardens over the last few days.

Based on comments left on the Blog and those emailed to us below, it sounds as though the show went down a storm.

If any readers would like to write a review of the show for publication on VentnorBlog, as usual, get in touch and let us know.

We went to see the Ventnor Theatre group performing the Buddy Holly Story last Saturday (3rd May). Would just like to say how fantastic this was. Best evening out we’ve had for ages. David “Dazey” Bartram-Shaw who played Buddy was brilliant as was Nathan Meller who played the Big Bopper. All performances were excellent. Well recommended. Really looking forward to seeing them perform the songs from the movies! Many congratulations for a “Buddy Brilliant” show.
Val Dorey

What a fantastic show last night, put on by the Ventnor Theatre Group, who needs the West End when we have such a talented company in our midst. The whole group did us proud. Well done.
