Bonchurch Beach Clean

Friday, 23rd February, 2007 at 10:51 am, Isle of Wight

Don’t forget that tomorrow (Sat) all hands are needed down at Monks Bay (Bonchurch Beach) to help clear away all manner of debris, countless plastic bottles and lone shoes, that has been washed up onto the beach over the winter.

Many hands will make light work of it, so head down from 11am and make a contribution, even if it’s just for an hour or so.

Update: We were only able to go down for an hour due to other commitments, but there was lots of good work going on down there. Apparently they will be continuing with it tomorrow. If you plan to go down to help out, take a pair of gloves.
