As part of the National Black History Month coming up in October, The Carnival Learning Centre in Ryde have organised a number of free events.
On Thursday 9 October, members of the Wycombe Steel Orchestra will take you on a journey through the history of the wonderful steel pans.
Starting at it’s roots and following through to it’s use in music today, this looks set to be an entertaining and educational event.
It’s absolutely free, all you have to do is make sure you head over to the Carnival Learning Centre in Westridge, Brading Road, Ryde.
Don’t forget to say where you heard about it!
