Now in it’s second year, the Big Arts Weekend takes place over the Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August this year.
To celebrate the event, Quay Arts, over the period of a month, will be showcasing an exhibition of work produced by children from Key Stage 3, in the Learning Curve Gallery.
There will be a diverse selection of works including digital portraiture, textiles, painting with a fine art approach and sculpture.
The Big Arts event is organised by the local authority’s Gifted & Talented Steering Group as part of the annual enrichment programme. Sounds like a very interesting exhibition and one that I’ll definitely be taking a look at.
