I know .. it was Wednesday night … what on earth do you want to be doing heading up to Ryde?
Well don’t worry your little selves, cos we did and we’re glad to share the news that a Ventnor band won the comp!
Who knows how to pronounce their name? I thought I did … but then I heard several interpretations tonight at Ryde Theatre, but one thing I do know for sure is that they … ‘Bastila’ (pronounced by me as Bas – tila) won the band comp and a pair of chavs afterdarkdnb (Thanks Renegade, we weren’t sure which ones they were) won the DJ comp.
Well done to everyone involved, as I thought you were all pretty darn good … although, personally, I thought Renegade should’ve won the DJ comp.
