Bestival 2008: Chas n Dave First Act Confirmed: Exclusive

Chas n DaveRegular readers of VentnorBlog will know how much we love Chas n Dave, so you can imagine how wet with excitement we were when we found out today that they were the first band to be booked for Bestival 2008.

Rob da Bank tells VentnorBlog that after having them play in 2004 he’s been trying to book them again ever since.

In fact he was so keen to have them play this year that he booked them just before Bestival 2007 because ….

I wanted to make sure I got them

Rob went onto explain that he’s currently booked about 70 acts, some of which will be announced next week.
