Bastila Plays Bestival Party

If you happen to be in the big smoke tonight and fancy showing your support for local band, Bastila, then head over to the Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle.

The party is being organised by Rob Da Bank’s record label, Sunday Best who Bastila recently signed with.

Alongside Bastila, you can hear Fear Of Theydon (aka Julian Peck) who is a former Sunday Best tea-boy who struck gold. It Hugs Back and Olympus Mons will also perform live alongside Sunday Best’s resident firestarter, Sportsday Megaphone and another new signing to the label, Christopher D Ashley.

There’ll be DJ sets from resident Sunday Best and Bestival DJs, the Sombrero Sound System + Ben Gregory, Fear of Theydon Productions and special guest Chris Peck of Boy Kill Boy.

There’s also a second room, named being hosted by Bear Dance where they’ll be laying down their unique blend of House, Disco, Balearica and much more. DJs include Al Riley, Proud to be a Robot DJs, Diskomatik DJs & Bear Dance co-founder, Jon Driscoll.

Tickets are £6 before midnight / £8 after and the action takes place at Corsica Studios, Elephant Road, Elephant & Castle, London. Doors open at 9pm – 4am

Bastila will also be playing on Saturday night at Unit 22 in Southampton. Pop over and join them if you can. They haven’t played there for a while and are planning to make it a good one.
