African Djembe Drum Course

Monday, 17th September, 2007 at 8:54 pm, Isle of Wight

Djembe DrummersIf you’ve ever watched anyone playing the African Djembe drums, we expect you’ll have been amazed at the wonderful sounds they are able to produce.

It’s not as easy as it looks, but under professional tuition you could soon become an expert yourself.

A ten week course, kicks off next Wednesday evening in Newport.

There’ll be a course for beginners from 6-7pm, which for the ten weeks will cost you a paltry £20, not bad at £2 a session.

For those with experience and looking to improve, the course runs between 7-9pm and will set you back £30.

Contact to Arts Unit to book your place on 823826. Course held at Charter House, St Thomas’ Square, Newport

Community, Education, Music, Newport
