Thanks to VB reader Seb for pointing out that 20th-26th February is National Chip Week.

ChipsAlthough we’re lovers of fine food, we’ve always had a soft spot for the good old British chip.

What kind of chips do you prefer, big fat chunky ones, thin and crispy or soggy saggies? Let us know your favourite type and where you get them.

Prizes galore
Organisers of the week long celebration of the humble chip have a competition running in which you could win one of two prizes; a Chip Experience worth £500 or a diamond encrusted chip fork made especially for Chip Week.

All you have to do is fill out a form and tell them how do you enjoy your chips?

Do you prefer to eat them whilst sitting on the beach, tractor or at home around the dining table.

Enter the competition.

Regal Fish and Chips in Bembridge are great. All freshly cooked to order and the guys who work there are lovely. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
