Isle of Wight in Time Magazine

Thanks to VB reader, Roydini for alerting us to another great mention about the Isle of Wight in the international press.

Isle of Wight in Time MagazineTravel writer, Jini Reddy describes the Island as “a microcosm of all that’s desirable in a UK holiday retreat.”

No a bad accolade!

Top five reasons
Her top five reasons to visit on the Island starts with Cowes Week at the top of the table.

Coming in second place is the wonderful Steephill Cove (Shhh) where she recommends loosening your belt, pulling up a deck chair and waving goodbye to the rat race.

Next up is Osborne House, followed by The Needles and finally, The Tennyson Trail.

It’s great to see the Island being promoted in international publications, but as witnessed in other mags too, the selection for the top five lists often seem to be lazy choices when there’s so much more on offer.

That aside, it’s fab to see VB reader Jason Swain‘s pics being used.
