If you happen to be out on the Southampton/Solent waters this morning and notice some rescue action, it’s likely (hopefully) to be the Red Funnel training exercise we’ve just been warned about.

Red Funnel Training Exercise in Southampton Water/Solent This MorningRed Funnel tells us that the exercise will involve their hi-speed craft Red Jet 5, an RNLI lifeboat and the Coastguard helicopter.

South Central Ambulance and several observers are also onboard from a training perspective.
