The Island Expo Catering and Hospitality Exhibition returns to Cowes Yacht Haven later in the month with yet another star studded lineup for the Expo Kitchen.

Island ExpoAs covered on VB over the last couple of years, the Expo which was launched in 2008 has firmly established itself as ‘the’ annual meeting place for the Island’s catering and hospitality industry.

It provides a great opportunity for suppliers and producers to showcase their products and services.

Each year the Expo Kitchen has proved very popular with visitors and exhibitors and with Cyrus Todiwala wowing the crowds last year, the celebrity slot will be a hard act to follow.

MasterChef crossing the Solent
That is of course, unless you’re Anton Edelmann.

Yes, the master chef himself will be dishing up royal delights on the opening day of the Expo, Tuesday 23rd February.

As well as holding the revered position of judge on TV’s MasterChef, Anton is well known in the industry having been the longest serving Maitre Chef de Cuisine in the history of London’s Savoy Hotel. He has cooked for World Leaders, numerous members of The Royal Family and in January 2008 opened Anton’s Restaurant at Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel.

Joining Anton on the celebrity chef lineup will be Aneke Spacie, who’ll be bringing the glitz and glamour of Harrods and The Ivy.

Island talent showcased too
Of course, there’ll also be the celebrity chefs from the Island including, Jose Graziosi from the George and Tyler Torrence from The West Bay Club, both in Yarmouth; Roger Serjent from The Taveners in Godshill; Charlie Bartlett from The Garlic Farm in Newchurch and Adam Fendyke of Goodman’s Bistro, Ventnor.

Entrance to the Expo is free, but you must register beforehand.
