Snow Alert: Power Cuts Expected

Due to the severe weather conditions, the Isle of Wight Council advise that some parts of the Island may experience power cuts today.

Snow Alert: Power Cuts ExpectedIf you do have a power cut, you can call Southern Electric on 0800 072 82 82 (this was the number quoted on the SE website but seems to go through to a kitchen company – thanks to Looby Loo for letting us know) try this 0845 7444 555 instead.

See this as a great chance to use all those candles you received as gifts at Christmas.

Best keep a torch somewhere handy too.

    Any more information about this would be really helpful. Are we just talking about the Ventnor area here?
