    Dear VentnorBlog,

Thank God for you. Tried to get through to Council website to see about school closures, but it is so slow and often just freezes. Presumably the volume of people trying to get through. I can find all about it at VentnorBlog and the page refreshes instantly. Thanks for being so up-to-date in your news.

Even though schools are closed does this mean the likes of cleaners get the day off also? Nodehill headmaster was intent on opening but I think the council gave the ultimate decision but I know we’d probably be drafted in snow or no snow :/

Isle of Wight radio were useless today, as were the County Press who failed to update info for hours. The radio breakfast duo sounded like they were getting over excited and dramatic rather than just being helpful. I re-tuned to Solent. Isle of Wight radio just went on and on about the same school closures and got muddled up. Well done VB.
