Winners of this year’s Bestival Band Competition, Arcade Eden, are counting down the days until the release of their hotly tipped single, ‘Black Light’.

Arcade Eden Set For Single ReleaseA week on Monday sees the release of the duo from Shanklin’s next single which is being described as ‘An appealing mix of big beats, snappy choruses and raw energy’.

Apparently the release has already been picked up by a major UK online retailer who will be using it during their catwalk shows at the ‘Clothes Show Live’ at Birmingham’s NEC.

Arcade’s Clare said “this is great exposure for us and we were especially thrilled as the Clothes Show Live attracts such huge audiences – it is really cool to think that models will be walking the catwalk to our track!”

If you can’t wait until next Monday to hear the single, why not check the band out in the flesh this coming Friday at Ryde Theatre where they’ll be playing alongside Brighton’s Floors and Walls, Broken Links and Bright as Vegas.

‘Black Light’, released on the Ear Candy Music label, will be available from all major digital stores from 7th December and as Arcade’s Larry added, ‘we are really looking forward to the Single release, as we have been working really hard and it offers people taster what is to come on our album.”
