Must say, when I read the headline from Old Duffer today – “Crossing paranoia” – I thought maybe it was about commuters trying to get across the Solent. How’re commuters managing with all these winds and cancellations this past week?

Wightlink struggled all last week ‘due to weather’ and today they decided it was too dangerous to sell newspapers and cold drinks on the Lymington route, I wouldn’t mind but we haven’t really had ‘bad’ weather, it’s just a bit windy and wet, typical November English weather.
Nowadays everyone makes a drama out of even minor irritations.
