Thee Waxworks To Release New EP
Friday, 20th November, 2009 at 2:46 pm, Isle of Wight
Oooh it’s just like the buses, nothing along for ages then three turn up at the same time.
Well, it’s not quite three, but two mentions of garage punk in one day is quite something for the Isle of Wight.
Island voodoo-swamp-blues-garage-punk band, Thee Waxworks, tell us that next month they’ll be releasing a new EP which will be available through the rather excellent Norman Records.
Entitled ‘The Kim Gordon’, the EP features three tracks, including a cover of ‘Revolution’ by Spacemen 3.
It’s hoped that some video footage can be added to the electronic version of the EP and we hear that the lads have been working hard, so expect some new songs on the way.
There is talk of a live performance next month, so keep an eye on Events OnTheWight for more details in the coming weeks.
