Monday, 16th November, 2009 at 9:31 am, Isle of Wight
How do you fancy dressing up as Father Christmas and running around Newport next month?
Sounds a little bit bonkers we know, but rest assured, it’s all for a good cause.
As part of the Newport Carnival, Age Concern Isle of Wight have organised Santa Dash Fun Run and are looking for people to take part.
Jo Dare, Chief Officer said: “This is our first Santa Dash, and we hope it will become a welcome addition to the festive calendar. We would love families, work colleagues and friends to join in the run, and help us to support more older people on the Island”.
