More Disruptions on Portsmouth-Fishbourne Car Ferry Service This Week

Oh dear, more disruption to hit sailings for WightLink’s Portsmouth-Fishbourne ferry service for most of this week.
Please be aware of the changes as below.
The following crossing have been cancelled.
Monday 16 November 2009
From Portsmouth Gunwharf: 12:00; 14:00; 16:00; 18:00 & 19.30
From Fishbourne: 11:00; 13:00; 15:00; 17:00; 19:00 & 20.30
Tuesday 17 & Wednesday 18 November 2009
From Portsmouth Gunwharf: 06:30; 08:30 & 10:30
From Fishbourne: 07:30; 09:30 & 11:30
Thursday 19 November 2009;
From Portsmouth Gunwharf: 06:30; 08:30; 10:30 & 12:30
From Fishbourne: 07:30; 09:30; 11:30 & 13:30

Wightlink. Quite awful service, how the OFT let them off is anyones guess.
Remember when they cancel services they still get the same revenue – just have less cost! Fuel, crew, berthing fees etc.
We had better get used to it, or build that bridge.

Wightlink today warn of disruption on Lymington-Yarmouth sailings for the next few days. 18-20th Nov. Crews say that the new super tall ferries are more vulnerable to loss of control in high winds. I seem to remember Wightlink claiming the new ships were MORE controlable in bad weather?More great news fro passengers.
