Poetry Festival This Afternoon

If you’re going to be in the Newport area this afternoon, why not take cover from the wind and rain at the Quay Arts Centre.

Island Voices: A Centenary of CelebrationTaking place between 2.30pm and 5.30pm today is a festival of poetry celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Poetry Society.

Island Stanza (Poetry Society members on the Isle of Wight) will be presenting a festival of poetry, readings and the prize-winners of Island Voices, the first national poetry competition on the Island.
