RUMOUR: Red Funnel To Conduct Redundancy Interviews Today

As readers will remember, back in October Red Funnel announced that 50 jobs may be lost through cut backs at the ferry firm.
An anonymous source close to Red Funnel has been in contact to say that staff will be having one-to-one meetings over the next two days with managers at Red Funnel.
Given the timing, it would appear to tie together. The thirty day consultation has now come to an end and our source also told us that it’s believed around 50% of the redundancies will be voluntary.
We spoke to the Red Funnel press office this morning for more info, but were told they have nothing more to add at this stage.
Thoughts go out to those who may be affected by this.
