If you’re looking for some firework night action tonight then there are three places we know of that you can head to.

Sandown
Due to the bad weather in the summer, Sandown’s illuminated carnival had to be cancelled. As so much hard work had gone into creation of the floats and costumes, the Carnival Committee have decided to hold the illuminated parade tonight prior to a firework display from Sandown Pier.

At 6pm The 14″ Remotes will be playing tracks from their debut album at The King’s House on the terrace overlooking Sandown Bay.

The parade will begin from the Town Hall at 6.30pm and at the same time a fire show will take place on the beach opposite The Carlton Hotel with Ryde Extreme Performers.

By 7pm, the parade will arrive on The Esplanade followed by Samba music and another fire show from Ryde Extreme Performers at 7.30pm with the Grand Fireworks Finale off Sandown Pier taking place at 8pm.

Yarmouth
There will be a Guy Fawkes competition at the Yarmouth get-together this year.

From 6pm head for The Square for a torchlight parade, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and entertainment.

Ventnor
As usual there will be a display on the Ventnor seafront this evening sponsored by The Met Bar and The Spyglass Inn.

Should be on at around 7.30pm – always a great display and well worth heading out for.
