Severe Weather Warning For The Island

The Met Office have issued a severe weather warning for the Isle of Wight.

Issued at 09:47 today

Southwesterly gale force 8 increasing severe gale force 9 imminent.

The shipping forecast this morning gave the sea state as “Moderate or rough occasionally very rough.”

Best batten down the hatches.
