A new online service has launched this week, created by Islanders for the benefit of Islanders.

Isle of Wight Jobs: New Service LaunchedIf you’re looking for a job on the Island or have a vacancy you need to advertise? Look no further than Isle of Wight Jobs.

Isle of Wight Jobs is a dedicated site that will connect job seekers and recruiters in every sector as simply and efficiently as possible.

The whole process is really simple and what’s more, registration is free.

Despite it being the launch week, the site already has at least 25 jobs being advertised for all manner of positions, from care staff to chefs, from hairdressers to HGV drivers.

How does it work?
Once you’ve completed and uploaded your CV, you can apply for any vacancy with just one click, and to make sure you don’t miss your dream job you’ll be emailed with any positions that match your profile.

Keeping it local
The aim of the team at Isle of Wight Jobs is to deliver the most comprehensive and up to date database of jobs on the Island.

You’ll be hearing more about Isle of Wight Jobs over the next few weeks and to help spread the word, the team are offering offering free job postings for employers until the 1st November.

Having worked on the project for the last three years, the team behind Isle of Wight Jobs are really passionate about this new service, which they hope will connect Island job seekers with employers through their simple and easy to use online service.
