If you are a fan of poetry then this free event at Quay Arts Centre should be right up your street.

Island Voices: A Centenary of CelebrationAs you may already know, 2009 is the 100th anniversary of the Poetry Society.

To celebrate, the Island Stanza (Poetry Society members on the Isle of Wight) will be presenting a festival of poetry, readings and the prize-winners of Island Voices, the first national poetry competition on the Island.

You don’t need to be a member of Island Stanza to attend, everyone is welcome.
