Sainsbury’s Petrol Station Taped Off By Police: UPDATED
Monday, 7th September, 2009 at 11:45 am, Isle of Wight

Two VB readers have been in touch to tell us that Sainsbury’s petrol station in Newport has been taped off by the police.
Two police cars are in attendance and officers are looking around the forecourt.
We’ve been in touch with the Island police and are currently waiting to hear back from them. We’ll update you when we hear.
If there’s anyone near there with a camera/cameraphone, it would be great to get a photo of what’s going on, so please get in touch.
Thanks to Fay Woodford for the photo from the scene

Thanks to Kelvin Currie and Richard Cobden for the tip
