Vestas Protest: Wight Trash Film of Eviction

Wednesday, 12th August, 2009 at 10:40 am, Isle of Wight

Green Issues, Newport, Vestas Sit-In, Video Content

Island film-maker John Cattle of Wight Trash Films has been doing his bit to document the protest at Vestas over the last three weeks.

Vestas Protest: John Cattle John has produced a great piece of footage and editing with his latest film covering the eviction of protesting workers at the Vestas Blade Plants in Newport that took place last Friday afternoon.

The film takes those not able to attend the eviction on a journey through the various stages of events.

It includes close up footage of Jumping Jaymie Rigby, the guy who decided to leave the balcony over the edge rather than through the doors.

John managed to get some brill shots of the events unfolding, so take a few minutes out of your busy lives to stop and watch.

Interesting to see that all sides (police & protestors) were busy filming the event and each other!
