Richard Herring Comes to VentnorThere’s a rare treat coming to the Ventnor Winter Gardens tonight – a chance to get a sneak preview of well-known comedian Richard Herring’s Edinburgh show, before it even gets to Scotland.

The show starts at 8pm tonight (doors 7.30pm) and also features three gorgeous up and coming female comedians.

Tickets are just £5, yes, you read that correctly. All that for a fiver!

Step forward Ventnor’s own Paramount Comedy award winning comedian Hannah George, Comedy Store King Gong Winner 2008 Catie Wilkins and Myspace Comedy Award Nominee 2008 Lou Sanders – ‘Has that sparkle that makes a good performer great’ (ITV).

Earlier in the week Richard appeared on ‘You Have Been Watching Website‘ hosted by Charlie Brooker, which you can still watch online for the next few days.

People on the Isle of Wight will be aware of the TV show that they mock in the second half of the show – Come Dine with Me, which featured four Islanders a little while back.

    Again, thanks for the reminder, Ventnor Blog! A really good night out. Bit of a debate round our table about whether it should have been an 18+ event due to the adult content.
