Open Studio 09: David Knight & Michael Forrest

Later this month, Island artists, David Knight and Michael Forrest will once again be holding an Open Studio in Newport.
We’re lucky enough to have work by both artists and can highly recommend this Open Studio exhibition.
Regular readers may remember Michael took part in our VentnorBlog Presents…. exhibition held in February 2008 at Bonchurch Manor Hotel.
Both artists specialise in working with enamel and will be holding an open workshop using industrial enameling techniques.
We went along to this last year and really enjoyed designing and creating a variety of coasters with David and Michael on hand offering advice and then firing the coaster for us.
We’re reminded of the enjoyable experience every morning when we sit down at the breakfast table with our cups of tea.
The workshops take place on Saturday 25th July and Monday 27th July between 10am-5pm.
You don’t need to book, just turn up and take part.
