Entries have been arriving in our inbox for the Goodleaf Tree Climbing Ticket Competition.
All you have to do to win two free tickets to climb Goodleaf’s new tree in Appley Park on Sunday 12th July is to send in your favourite shot of an oak tree.
It’s as simple as that. Legendary Island photographer, Julian Winslow, will be judging the entries and the winner will be announced by 4pm Friday 10th July (the precise time that Leader of the Council, David Pugh, will be making the inaugural climb up that particular tree)
You have until 5pm on Tuesday 7th July to send in your entries.

I wonder whether David would recognise the difference between a ‘double figure of eight’ and a ‘noose’. Any Takers?
