UK Beach Soccer champions, ‘The Bees’ are back on the sand this weekend.

The Bees Play IWBSA LeagueMake your way to Ryde Sands near the Appley Tower if you want to catch the action of the Isle of Wight Beach Soccer teams.

Schedules for the weekend are looking like this.

Saturday 27th June Day One
11am – Game 1 The Bees v Sporting Calbourne
12pm – Game 2 WKR Santos v BSC Galaxy
1pm – Game 3 Ryde Sports v Sandown Sociedad
2pm – Game 4 Shanklin Sharks v Wight Stripes
3pm – Game 5 Loser 2 v Loser 3
4pm – Game 6 Loser 1 v Loser 4

Sunday 28th June 2009 Day Two
11am – Game 7 Winner 1 v Winner 4
12pm – Game 8 Winner 2 v Winner 3
1pm – Game 9 Loser 5 v Loser 6
2pm – Game 10 Winner 5 v Winner 6
3pm – Game 11 Loser 7 v Loser 8
4pm – Game 12 Winner 7 v Winner 8 “SUPER FINAL”

    i think the bees urgently need an under-age mascot.

    luckily i’ve found just the fellow – from london – who’s just completed a sponsored walk on the island – for bees!!

    a pity he didn’t tell the blog in advance – local residents could have cheered him on!!
