Can you help with this appeal from Kelly Matthews (YMCA-IW and V Involved programme), it’s a very worthy cause and should be good fun too? Ed

Fancy doing a good deed and get fit at the same time?

We would really like it if you could help raise money for the Help2Grieve children and young people bereavement Service set up by YMCA Isle of Wight.

To do this we will give you all the information you need to get started on your journey to find friendly sponsors which will enable you to undertake a 3.5 hour indoor Laser Storm marathon held at JR Zone in Newport on Thursday 23rd July 2009 from 6:30pm – 10pm.

This is a great opportunity to raise some much needed cash for this service, meet new people in an exhilarating social environment and you can also show off your commando skills!

We have mystery gold silver and bronze prizes for those individuals who raise the most funds – These prizes are well worth the competitive battle!

If this is something that interests you please contact Kelly Matthews volunteering project coordinator by 5pm on Friday 3rd July.
