Joining Mika on the Bestival 09 lineup announced exclusively to VB this afternoon will be psychedelic The Hot Rats.

Bestival 09: The Hot Rats Rock OnThis super-stellar spin off from the excellent sideburn loving indie kids, Supergrass, will be making their way to Robin Hill this September to deliver some Hot Rats action.

Rob da Bank gushed: “’I'm well pleased that Hot Rats are coming to Bestival for a rare live show – I’m a massive Supergrass fan and with Gaz and Danny from the band being joined by Radiohead uber producer and Bestival fan Nigel Godrich it’s my kinda thing. See you in September!’”

Check out their cover of one of my all time favourite tracks, Damaged Goods by Gang of Four. Yep, they’re defo going on the VB list of acts not to miss.
