Invent Theatre Update
Monday, 6th April, 2009 at 3:49 pm, Isle of Wight
Bembridge, Cowes, Theatre, Ventnor, Whitwell, Youth
Just back from the first AGM of the Invent Theatre Group and happy to report that all is going well with the youth led theatre group, rehearsals for the next production are underway and there are some very exciting projects in the pipeline.
Jack Whitewood’s latest play, The Button Box, opens at Quay Arts on Saturday 27th June before a tour around the Island to more rural locations.
Whitwell Village Hall (4th July), Bembridge Village Hall (11th July) and Trinity Theatre Cowes (18th July) will all play host to the latest production from the Invent Theatre Group and we’ll be letting you know where you can buy your tickets from in due course.
Theatre goers will remember Jack as the writer and director of The Asphodel Fields which showed at Shankline Theatre last year and The Bench in the Park which played at Medina Theatre in 2007.
Jacks creatively ambitious mind has been working overtime and there are some other very exciting projects in the pipeline, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer to hear more on those.
