The Project: Jazz Jam Tonight
Friday, 3rd April, 2009 at 2:42 pm, Isle of Wight
As usual, there’s lots going on around the Island this weekend.
Playing at the Wight Rock Bar in Lind Street Ryde tonight are The Project.
We don’t know a lot about it, but understand that the group consists of various musicians from around the Island coming together for what we believe is an unrehearsed gig to play some quality jazz.
The band is made up of Platform One teachers on sax, keyboards and bass, Tim Parkin from The Bees on trumpet and one of the lads from Widget Productions.
We understand that it’ll be free to get in and others who have seen this group play together before reckon it’s well worth making the effort to get out to.
We love the Wight Rock venue, it always has a great intimate atmosphere, so are guessing this should be a good night.
