Probably the highlight of the Minghella Movie Marathon this weekend will be the Gala Screening of The English Patient on Saturday night.

Minghella Movie Marathon: The English Patient (15)The event being held at Medina Theatre will be hosted by Anthony’s mother, Gloria Minghella MBE who will be joined by Lord David Puttnam of Queensgate CBE and Kevin Whately.

The evening starts with drinks and canapés, giving you a opportunity to chat and schmoosh before the introductions start in the theatre at 7.15pm.

The intros are followed by the screening of the film starting at 7.30pm.

If you’re planning to attend, you’ll need to brush down your DJs and cocktail dresses as this is a strictly black tie event.
