Minghella Movie Marathon: No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency

As all readers probably are already aware this weekend sees the first Minghella Movie Marathon come to the Island.

Minghella Movie Marathon: No. 1 Ladies' Detective AgencyCineworld, Medina Theatre and Quay Arts will all play host to the stars as they arrive to take part in the weekends event celebrating the life and work of Anthony Minghella.

There are eight screenings taking place over the weekend and tickets available still for all of them (apart from the Cold Mountain documentary).

We’ll be bringing you details of all events later today but start with details of a very special event for fans of No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency.

Hosted by Gioia Minghella with Timothy Bricknell and Nikki Amuka-Bird, a screening No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency (12) will take place along with a documentary of the film.

It starts at 11am and tickets are just £5 (free to under 18’s, booking advised).
