Charity Fundraiser This Sat NightCompeting with the plethora of things taking place this weekend is Rob Da Bank’s Charity Fundraiser at Ryde Theatre on Saturday night.

The gigs which features the likes of the rather excellent Dub Pistols and The Hat as been organised to mark the 25th anniversary of The Isle of Wight Youth Trust.

Rob Da Bank will be spinning the latest vinyl and The Bees Sound Selection will be bringing their favourite tunes to get the dance floor bumping.

Bastila will be giving you a sneak preview of their debut album due out in a few months (review to follow shortly on VB with interview) and there’ll be a special performance from Island hop hop team, Blank Beats making this a night to remember.

Tickets are just £15 (don’t forget it’s for a good cause) and available from The Venue or Generation in Newport.

This one is strictly over 18s and the action continues until 2am.
