Mark Camley, The Royal Parks Chief Executive: Interview (Podcast)

Monday, 2nd March, 2009 at 3:12 pm, Isle of Wight

Environment, Island-wide, Overseas, podcast

Mark Camley, The Royal Parks Chief Executive: Interview As you may have read, nine senior members of the Royal Parks are visiting the Isle of Wight at the moment.

We popped down to The Royal Hotel, Ventnor today to have a chat to two of the key figures involved in the tie-up.

Mark Camley is the Chief Executive of The Royal Parks and shares a clear enthusiasm for not only the Island, but also the potential mutual benefit to both the IWC Parks department and The Royal Parks.

There’s an historical precedent to collaboration – Royal Parks apprentices used to train at Osborne House.

Mark told VentnorBlog, they looked forward to “building a partnership on how we manage parks, both in London and the Isle of Wight, learn a bit from each other and pick up on skills and expertise that people have.”

All very positive. More detail in the recording …
