What would the benefit to Island be if the larger Cheverton Down Turbines were allowed to go ahead?
The proposed wind turbines should, on average, provide electricity for 4,500- 5,000 Island homes.
£1,000 paid per mW per year to community charities within a geographic area close to the turbines.
We also touch on wave energy.
