Isle of Wight Festival: RazorlightJoining Stereophonics on the latest announcement of lineups for the 2009 Isle of Wight Festival are Razorlight.

Fresh from their appearance at Oxegen 2009 Festival, Razorlight are planning to make festival goers Saturday the best ever.

    Of course, the problem with that one is that they’re unlikely to sound as good as they did for real at the Nashville or the ULU in ‘79/’80!

    I’m also underwhelmed. Perhaps it’ll be balanced out with something mega on Sunday night that’s eating up the budget, hence the slightly “meh” Saturday line-up?

    I was blown away by Mercury Rev at the End of the Road festival last year. They were epic.
    Sorely tempted to pop over to Camp Bestival to catch them (and Bon Iver) again.
    It’s been a while since the Isle of Wight festival has had a great deal to offer me. Perfectly happy to concede that I’m likely to be in a minority here, though.
